Alfonso at the front desk was great.
Great location. Air conditioning was turned off first night. No hot water in the morning. The carpeting throughout the hotel needs a cleaning. Nice to have rooftop sitting area. Breakfast was good choices but Eggs were cold at 9:00am and were not served before 7:30am
It's a nice hotel near the Vatican, clean interior and adequate comfort for the price. Free WiFi connection. Friendly hotel staff.
The hotel offers an "airport shuttle" - which costs 50 € and is therefore more expensive than a taxi (40 €). Internet connection is rather slow and doesn't always work.
Location is very good.
Staff very unpleasant; room smelled awful from tapestry; parking is disastrous - woke me up in the middle of the night to move my car.
it's qiuit nice. Not far from Vatican ans St.Angelo Castel.
price could be less ))
The roof top terrace
Very good location if you want to visit the Vatican and the historic centre of Rome.
Staff (and hotel) not that reliable in case of inconveniences
The best part of the hotel was the beautiful rooftop garden, with of a view of St. Peter's Basillica. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The room needed updating, and the carpet needed replacing. It was dark and didn't seem clean. There were small ants in the closet, which we didn't discover until we packed up to leave and they were all over our suitcases. The bathroom fixtures were not hotel quality, and didn't work well. and the mattress was quite hard.
The hotel has a very good location 2 min from Vatican and approximately 15 minutes to the old town. Subway is also app. 3 min away. It is a nice hotel with old fashioned rooms, which are very clean. The breakfast is very good - sweet and also ham, eggs, vegetable etc. They make you an italian cappucino for free when you ask. Reception guy was also nice. Advantage is late check out - 12:00 and although there is an info, that wifi is only near the reception, there was free wifi in the room in third floor with no problems. Taxi from Termini station, costs only ca. 15 euro, not more! It is good, when you let the hotel call a taxi for you, it is the most safe...
The hotel felt luxurious. The rooms were stylish, well-kept with good amenities. A complimentary breakfast was provided with a good selection of foods. The roof patio has a fantastic view of St.Peter's Basilica, day or night.
The location was very close to Vatican City -- a 5 minute walk. However, that meant the heart of Rome and the majority of its sights were quite a ways away. The Metro lines were a 10 minute walk from the hotel, making it a commitment to go to the big attractions.
Wi-fi did not work properly
The staff was very helpful , particularly Gino who spoke good french and catered to all our needs perfectly . We enjoyed the terrasse although it was a little chilly in mars, the view was enjoyable as expected . The place is quiet .
The decoration of the room was minimal and the brown colour not very enticing. Breakfast offered a wide range of pastries ,but they were not very tasty and for some of them did not look fresh; The Fruit juice from the machine was horrendous , however there was the option of fresh orange juice which we relished. I would have preferred to have fresh fruit served not fruits from cans .
Very nice old fashioned hotel. well appointed, freshly decorated, excellent breakfast and beautiful roof terrace, with a view of St Peter's Basilica. Nice neighbourhood and lots of good places to eat nearby.
Bedroom very small, wall decoration very ornate and dark, so made room seem much smaller and enclosed.
Rooms were quite small but well fitted and very clean and tidy. Hotel was well placed for seeing the sights of the city-particularly Vatican City. Roof terrace was a great facility
The breakfasts could have had a better selection of fruit and bread
Stuff was kind and will to help, room was clean,wi-fi was sufficient
There was no satellite tv in the room, breakfast could be more rich in variety
